Trying out AuctionAds
If you see on the left sidebar, you will notice a new set of product advertisements from AuctionAds. I have know about AuctionAds for some time, but I don’t really do well with affiliate programs so I didn’t really bother. Or at least, not until today when I read this post by Daily Dinar. As explained by AuctionAds themselves:
When your site’s visitors click on an Auction Ad listing and take an action on eBay you earn cash. Actions are defined as a Winning Bid, a Buy-it-Now or a confirmed user registration. AuctionAds is committed to paying out a minimum of 100% of eBay commission revenue. See eBay’s affiliate program for details on the payout.
For the Muslim blogger or webmaster, there are additional benefits such as wiping out all those crappy (not to mention stupid) pagan-Xtian missionary websites or blogs that often appear in Google Adsense.
The ads come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can, like Google Adsense, be customised to suit your site. What makes this especially good for Muslims is that you can specify the keywords for the products you want displayed. For example, you can limit it to ipods, books or even Arabic or Islamic material. That gives webmasters far greater control over what gets displayed on their website.
God knows how many times that I banned those types of websites, but each time I banned 10 URLs, another 100 will show up. I think that if AuctionAds really works for my sites, I might slowly phase out Google Adsense on my Islamic blogs and start the shift to AuctionAds.
Let see whether this works, shall we?
